Katie is a native of South Carolina. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Before attending law school, Katie entered the workforce as an assistant branch manager of a large corporate bank. Realizing that this was not her calling, Katie decided to further her education by going to law school. She attended North Carolina Central University school of Law where she rediscovered her first true love, taxation. After successfully completing law school, Katie decided to further her tax knowledge base by pursuing a Master’s of Law in Taxation. She received her LL.M. from the University Of Washington School Of Law and began her legal career in 2008 with a regional law firm, where she practiced tax and corporate law. During her tenure, Katie focused primarily in tax controversy where she effectively defended clients against both the IRS and North Carolina Department of Revenue.
Katie continues to zealously represent businesses and individuals in tax and corporate matters. Her passion is helping to create and grow small businesses to their full potential. She regularly conducts seminars, in collaboration with the IRS and a local Technical College, to educate small businesses and individuals about tax and corporate matters. Katie is also an active member in numerous legal and professional organizations.

Gina T. Cain

Gina is an attorney based in Durham, North Carolina license within the state since 2001. Attorney Cain obtained her Bachelor of Arts of Spelman College in Atlanta Georgia and her Juris Doctorate Degree from The Catholic University of America: Columbus School of Law in Washington D.C. Attorney Cain has a passion for helping her clients solve problems and achieve goals. Attorney Cain’s areas of practice are in Entrepreneurship which includes determining the appropriate corporate structure for a business, establishing company policies and procedures with regard to customers and employees, reviewing and drafting contracts, advising regarding risk assessment and mitigation, and establishing appropriate billing and debt collection practices; Estate Planning, which includes drafting wills and trust to achieve her clients desired outcome for their estates; Estate Administration, Guardianship proceedings, and Unemployment Appeals hearings for employers as well as employees.

Samantha Moye is a paralegal with 10+ years of experience. Samantha earned her Paralegal diploma from Ashworth University. Samantha has a passion for customer service and has experience with variety areas of law, which include but not limited too, workman’s compensation, personal injury, tax and real estate law. When Samantha is not on the mission of pleasing others, she enjoys spending time her family.
